I decided to build my business on the side. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m going to work on it part-time. My goal is to grow my business to the level where it could support me and my family. At that stage I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be able to quit my day job.<\/p>\n<p>I have a lot of distance to cover. I need at least $5,000 per month to quit my day job:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1,900 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c home mortgage<\/li>\n<li>$2,000 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c living expenses (food, electricity, gas etc)<\/li>\n<li>$1,000 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c just in case (buffer)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fortunately we don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have any credit card debt.<\/p>\n<p>I definitely don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t want to take any investments. I want to bootstrap my way up. My business should pay for itself.<\/p>\n<p>I will post updates about my actions here, on this blog.
